When you submit the quote form, we collect:

• Your name, email address and mobile phone number
• Your postcode and suburb
• Property details (property type, parking location, switchboard, cable run, power supply)
• EV and charger details (make/model, charger status, brand preference, solar)
• Timeframe, priorities and any notes you choose to add
• Basic technical data (IP address, browser, referrer) via standard web logs

3. How we use your information

We use the information you submit to:

• Generate your instant installation estimate
• Contact you by email, phone or SMS about your quote request
• Share your enquiry with a small number of licensed local installers in our network so they can prepare and send you quotes
• Follow up to check the installers made contact and the quotes met your needs
• Improve our service and site content

4. Who we share your information with

To provide the service you requested, we share your enquiry with licensed EV charger installers operating in your area. Each installer becomes an independent data controller for the information we send them and handles it under their own privacy policy. We only share the details needed to prepare a quote — we do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not share it for unrelated marketing.

We also use standard service providers to run this website (hosting, database, email delivery). These providers act as data processors on our behalf.

5. Consent and how you can opt out

By ticking the consent box and submitting the quote form, you agree to be contacted by us and by licensed installers with quotes for your job. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying "STOP" to an SMS, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or emailing contact@modernhelpai.com. Note that installers we have already shared your enquiry with may still contact you about your existing request — you can ask them to stop directly.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep quote enquiry records for as long as reasonably needed to service your request, handle any follow-up, and meet Australian record-keeping obligations. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.

7. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction, request deletion, and complain about how we handle your data. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@modernhelpai.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

8. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies and browser storage items to keep the site working (e.g. session state). We do not currently use advertising or profiling cookies.
